It all started with the construction of the first wooden ramps in a workshop in the bavarian Schwarzenbach Saale (Blackriver City) about ten years ago. Some things have never changed since then. For example, it was never our aim to make a low-priced mass product, but to produce high end wooden ramps. We are working with qualified craftsmen and social workshops in our region to reach the desirable quality. Also our careful selection of the best materials contributes to this goal.
The diagonal covering of the transitions, their metal plated ends or the copings are evidence of precision and the authentic details of our products. The continuous revisions of single parts makes sure the obstacles always meet the requirements of our riders. The picnic table, one of the best-sellers, followed the change of modern fingerboarding already through four versions. The wide range of prices due to the various sizes grants access to a broad public.
Our high quality standards guarantee longevity and therefore long lasting fingerboard fun.
All products are shipped assembled. Thus nothing will stand in the way of fingerboarding from the first minute on. (Only ramps with rails are shipped without fixed rails, because we want the customer to fix it like she/he likes it most. Of course fitting screws are delivered with the ramp.)

Being fingerboarders we take it for granted that all our products are designed "from fingerboards for fingerboarders". Moreover supporting +blackriver+ contributes to a strengthening of the fingerboard scene, because we have actively and systematically been creating the fingerboard scene since 10 years and itīs one of our main concerns for the future that the fingerboard scene grows further.
