Starting in the early ‘70s in New York City, a group of artists including DJs, b-boys, graffiti artists, and skateboarders started Zoo York in Manhattan’s Riverside Park. By the 80’s they came to symbolize NYC underground. By 1993 skateboarders Rodney Smith, Eli Morgan Gessner, and Adam Schatz created the Zoo York skateboarding brand. What began as simple skateboarding decks and T-shirts grew into a rugged streetwear collection.

Today, Zoo York is now an evolved, globally recognized brand. It’s product line continues to be heavily influenced by skateboarding, graffiti, hip-hop, punk, and everything else in between.
