 Where we came fromMunster Toys is a family-owned business that began in Canada in 2006. We originally started as an ebay business operating out of our home under the ebay user id munstertoys. But as time went on we started to believe that maybe we could do this on our own, outside of ebay, with our own website. It was worth a try at least. So here we, are couple of years later, after a lot of sweat and hard work, we now have www.munstertoys.com. "Thinking outside the toy box" Over the past year we came to realize that in order to survive as a business we had to separate ourselves from the many other toy retailers out there. We discovered to our own detriment that it was incredibly difficult to compete the with big box stores like walmart, amazon, and toys r us. Therefore we had to create a new philosophy, namely to think outside of the norm and stock toys that may not necessarily be mainstream but have dedicated followers. So this is what we will continue to do along with searching high and low for the next big toy trend (before they become the next big toy trend). New Look, New Start We wanted to give a face to our brand so we hired a very talented artist from Japan to come up with a company mascot, something that would certainly represent the term "munster". This talented artist is also responsible for all of the graphics that showcase our mascot. We also needed to give our website a makeover and bring some legitimacy to the company. We had done a lot of the original web design ourselves. So we contacted Cameron at www.memaddog.com and what you currently see is the end result of some great collaboration.
